Organic ashwagandha in powder

Also called Indian ginseng, ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a major plant in the Ayurvedic tradition. Its name means strength of horse in Sanskrit, because this plant was deemed to increase the physical and mental energy. Its content of withanolides and acetysterylglucosides makes it particularly interesting.

Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic plant. It acts globally and provides a natural response to stress.

Ingredients: 100% organic ashwagandha powder (Withania somnifera)

Packaging:  Organic ashwagandha in powder – 150 mg sachet

Origin: India

Recommended use: 1 teaspoon (5 g) of ashwagandha powder diluted in a glass of water or fruit juice or in a compote every day.

Precaution for use:

– do not exceed the recommended daily dose of 5 g per day;

– Not recommended for intestinal disorders, hyperthyroidism, hemochromatosis, pregnancy and breastfeeding. In case of treatment with chemical antidepressants, it is better to consult the doctor (ashwagandha would be likely to interact with these drugs);

– do not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle;

– keep out of reach of children.
