Description
Organic buckwheat flour – 500g, produced in France. Organic buckwheat. Buckwheat, also known as buckwheat, is not a cereal: it’s a flowering plant. It is grown in poor soils. Buckwheat is rich in protein and fiber. Its seeds also contain all the essential amino acids. Buckwheat flour integrates perfectly into a variety of culinary preparations. Its taste is stronger than that of wheat flour. In fact, it’s the main ingredient in the traditional Breton galette. However, its flour is not bread-making: it cannot be used on its own to make bread. Buckwheat flour must be combined with a bread flour (wheat flour or psyllium flour, an excellent gluten substitute), using the 20/80 ratio (20% buckwheat flour and 80% bread flour).
