Blond psyllium, also known as Ispaghul, is nicknamed the colon’s friend. It has been used for centuries in India and Pakistan to regulate transit. The seed coat of psyllium is very rich in mucilage. In contact with water, these mucilages form a very soft gelatinous mass.

Choose organic psyllium

It is important to use organically-grown psyllium blond. The absence of pesticide treatments and preservatives is essential, since the seed coat is used here. Psyllium ‘s properties are essentially due to the mucilage contained in the tegument. These mucilages pass through the intestines, swelling on contact with water to form a softening gel.

Ingredients of our Psyllium 300 g ORGANIC: 100% certified organic psyllium tegument(Plantago ovata Forssk)

Directions for use: start with 1 teaspoonful a day for several days. Mix well in a tall glass of liquid and drink immediately, then rinse the glass and drink again. Organic psyllium 300 g can also be incorporated into any sufficiently watery preparation (soup, yoghurt, compote, etc.).

If necessary, the daily dose can be gradually increased, up to a maximum of 3 tablespoons (30 g) per day, in several doses. We recommend that you always drink plenty of water during and after taking psyllium.
