Like quinoa and amaranth, buckwheat is generally referred as pseudo-cereal, but unlike conventional cereals, it does not belong to the family of grasses. The sprouted buckwheat seed contains essential carbohydrates and amino acids, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, C, E, K, rutin (vitamin P), and mineral salts (silicon, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium potassium, manganese, zinc, copper, fluorine, iron).
Buckwheat seeds have a neutral taste and are slightly crunchy. They are consumed raw or cooked (light steam cooking) and can be mixed in different preparations, salty or sweet, or simply added to your salads and mueslis.
Like all our sprouted seeds (wheat, alfalfa, sunflower, lentils), our buckwheat seeds are carefully selected and come from organic production in Gironde. ( South of France)
